Welcome to the Jovial Judge, where the world of law meets the lighter side of life! We're your hosts, John Mashni & Michael S. Melfi, and we're not your typical lawyers. We're two friends who also happen to be business partners, on a mission to inject some fun into the practice of law.

Our journey began a few years ago when we first met and it has been fun ever since. While others struggled through dense substantive law and case analysis, we found ourselves chuckling at the quirks of the legal world. The idea of combining our passion for law with our love for humor was born, and we knew we had to share it with the world.

As lawyers, we've navigated the intricate webs of contracts, courtrooms, and corporate negotiations and we've always believed that the legal profession could use a bit more levity. So, we decided to create a platform where we could poke fun at the idiosyncrasies of the legal industry, and where everyone, from seasoned attorneys to law students, could join in on the laughter.
